Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is an active yoga practice. Within this practice, you will experience and learn Pranayama (breathing control techniques), use the breath to flow through asanas (poses) to strengthen and lengthen muscles, improve posture, balance, control, mobility, focus and meditation and relaxation techniques. This practice is a full workout for the mind, body and soul and creates a sense of calm and wellbeing.

Thursday 17:45 – 18:45 at The Community Sports Centre, Burwell.

Friday 10:00 – 11:00 at The Beeches, Isleham.

Sunday 10:00 – 11:00 at The Blueshed Studios, Soham N: B this class moves outside for the Summer to Soham Recreational Ground for ‘Yoga in Nature’.

10 Class Pass £70. The 10 class pass is valid for thirteen weeks allowing you flexibility on attendance.  Please see Cancellation Policy located in the footer of this website. 

5 Class Pass £40 valid for 6 weeks.

Restoration Yoga

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a passive healing practice, whereby the focus is on relaxation and opening common tense muscle groups. Restorative yoga returns the nervous system away from a stimulated or the ‘fight or flight’ state and towards a parasympathetic state. Asanas (poses and postures) are held for longer, typically four to five poses a class. The body is supported by props, allowing the breath and heart rate to slow down, reducing blood pressure and creating calm and wellbeing.  N: B This is not an exercise class.

Yin-Yoga

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slower-based yoga practice with floor based poses held for longer passively, typically 3 – 5 minutes allowing it to work deep into the muscles and connective tissues of the body to help support and strengthen joints.
Yin helps to increase circulation, calms and balances the mind and body, reduces stress and anxiety, improves flexibility, balances the internal organs and encourages the flow of chi/prana (energy).

Mediation

Meditation

Meditation is a practice where you learn to focus your mind to train attention and awareness, achieving a sense of calm emotional and clear mental state.
Within this practice, you will learn different techniques of meditation and gain the tools to practice at home as well as guided meditation to transport your mind and soul to a calm and relaxed state.

6 Week Meditation Course Dates:

7th April – 12th May

Sunday 11:45 – 12:45 at White Tara, Newmarket. 

Course Content:  Postures for meditation, rotation of consciousness, pranayama, movement meditation, walking meditation, chanting meditation, visualisation, Yoga Nidra, reflective journal and recorded guided meditations for home practice.

1-1-Yoga

1:1 Yoga

A 1:1 practice is tailored to your needs; at a time that suits you, in your own home and focusing on the areas that you would like to work on.
This can be anything from asana practice and alignment, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, pranayama, mindfulness and meditation, or all of the above!

Available Practices

1:1 Yoga £35 for one hour session within a 10 mile radius of Soham, Cambridgeshire. N :B Outside of a 10 mile radius will incur further travel costs.

Seated-Yoga

Seated Yoga

Natasha offers seated yoga practices within local care homes and day centres. These sessions are fun, playful and create a sense of community for participants as well as improving strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, awareness of breath and movement, support the nervous system, promote better mental health and resilience, create a sense of fulfilment, support immune function and prevent injuries.

Corporate Yoga

Planning a wellbeing day for your workforce? Or perhaps you would like to offer regular practices in the workplace. Natasha offers corporate yoga sessions at a time that suits the working day of your company. Including mindfulness, meditation and/or asana practice within your wellbeing strategy can have many benefits such as; less absenteeism, higher productivity, improved morale, less employer turnover and a joyful and fulfilled workforce.
